First day of classes

First, for those of you at UTD, it's the first day of class. If this is a surprise to you, I want to shake your hand and party with you, you seem like my kind of person.

Second, now I've met, in real life, the following UTD people:
[info]indefinitex, [info]bretthoerner, [info]efriesen, [info]uberdorkness, [info]digmeunder, [info]merd22, [info]camdez, [info]jerseygrits, [info]philipmw, [info]kmcg, [info]brb1081, [info]baronsyntax, [info]akaleikehe, [info]matt_havener, [info]alexhays, [info]thegina, [info]thepastrypixie, [info]mae_rock and finally today [info]slayk. He's taller than I thought he would be, I don't know why.

I mean, I don't know why I thought he'd be shorter, I'm sure he's tall because of genetics and a healthy childhood diet.

People I still have to meet:
[info]_gloomcookie_, [info]tuxedobarbie, and a few people who don't have LiveJournal, and hence won't be seeing this.

I still haven't been to a single class of mine. I have my sexy class coming up at 3:30, and of course I have class every night from 7pm to 10pm, except friday, where I won't do shit except possibly recover from a hangover, and get psyched for my upcoming hangover.

Update 2005-08-19: Met [info]_gloomcookie_ last night, scored a free hotdog, and went to a hookah bar. wru [info]tuxedobarbie? I gotta catch 'em all, or whatever.

My 3:30 class lasted about 15 minutes, but I guess yours will last a little longer.

But I'll be on campus until 7 today, and at that point, I'll dive into classes until 10.

I don't start class again until Sept. 26th...and even then I don't really have to take anymore classes, but I think I'll take one for good measure. I'm supposed to be writting some giant honors paper or something ; )

Well, it is her AIM name, I believe. You're thinking of a kind of heavy-set girl, "emo"-glasses, dark hair? Actually, I don't think I know her natural hair color, she dyes it quite a bit, and I guess she might not always have worn the glasses... and I don't htink I have any photos of her.

Right, her real name is Mel, though, and she has a funny last name.

yes, same one then -- a few years ago, i msged her on aim or yahoo or something and talked to her all of 5 minutes... i thought she was pretty cool but she wanted to act like a bitch so oh well her loss
